The Hessische Kulturstiftung domiciled in Wiesbaden is a foundation under civil law administered by the State of Hesse. Its purpose is to support the state’s non-profit visual arts institutions and its archives and libraries. Every two years, the foundation also awards grants to visual artists for travel projects of their choice as well as for residencies in New York City, London, Paris, Istanbul and Kyoto.
