Paris
The Hessische Kulturstiftung has its Paris studio in the heart of the city at the Cité internationale des arts, a building complex that constitutes the world’s largest artists’ residence. In use by the foundation since 1992, the combined living and working space has provided accommodations to some 30 of its grant recipients.
Istanbul
Since 2013, the Hessische Kulturstiftung has been renting a combined living and working studio for its grant recipients in the middle of Beyoğlu, a district located between the Golden Horn and the Bosporus. About 10 of its grant recipients have meanwhile had the opportunity to pursue their artistic projects there.
